I was born in Germany but have been living in Belgium for most of my life. As a kid I was always drawing and exploring ideas on paper. 3D software caught my interest over two decades ago, when my dad bought a Mac magazine that came bundled with a software package called Strata Vision 3D (used on the games Myst and Riven).

After finishing my studies in Multimedia & Communication Technology I started my career as a 3D Artist working for clients like Ricoh, Carrier, Honda and Pioneer. In 2010 I decided to go freelance working mainly for Advertising Agencies, where HDR Light Studio became my trusted companion for Product Lighting in Modo and Maya.

After 10 adventurous years as a freelancer, I joined Dassault Systèmes 3DEXCITE Belgium as Teamlead for one of the Experience Production teams, working for Automotive (Toyota, Lexus, Audi, ...) in Deltagen, HDR Light Studio and Photoshop. In my spare time I mainly use Blender and Zbrush and recently added Moi3D to the tool-belt in order to combine polygon workflows with some lovely CAD modeling techniques for extra precision.

    Here's some of my work:
